Erica Ramos

Erica Ramos is the Vice President of Advisory Services at Genome Medical where her team provides strategic guidance, program development and other custom products and services, enabling health care, lab, and biopharma clients to optimally utilize genetics and genomics and ensure high-quality and equitable care. Prior to joining Genome Medical, Erica focused on developing programs to accelerate the responsible adoption and integration of genomics into preventive care and population health with organizations like Geisinger Health and Illumina. Before her transition into industry, Erica was the first genetic counselor to provide cancer genetics services in Las Vegas and partnered with organizations like the Culinary Workers Union to raise awareness and improve access to care for underserved communities. Erica is nationally recognized leader in the genetic counseling community, serving as the 2018 President of the National Society of Genetic Counselors and for five years on the All of Us Research Program Advisory Panel. During the last 4 years, she has focused on mentorship for genetic counseling students and applicants from traditionally marginalized communities and supporting DEI initiatives within Genome Medical and across the profession.
