
Maegan Roberts, MS, CGC, is a cancer genetic counselor at The Ohio State University with 18 years of experience in both clinical and laboratory settings. Her research focuses on hereditary gastrointestinal cancer syndromes, particularly hereditary diffuse gastric cancer and the associated genes CDH1 and CTNNA1. She has a strong interest in variant classification and genotype-phenotype correlations related to these genes.
Maegan serves as co-chair of the Gastric Cancer ClinGen Variant Curation Expert Panel (VCEP) and is a member of GASTRIC (Group of investigAtors STriving towards Research In CDH1). She is also an active participant in the International Gastric Cancer Linkage Consortium (IGCLC) and the Blepharocheilodontic Syndrome (BCDS) Consortium, both of which are international collaborations aimed at advancing the understanding of CDH1- and CTNNA1-associated conditions.
