
Stephanie Cohen is a board-certified and licensed genetic counselor who earned her MS degree in Genetic Counseling at the University of Michigan. She currently works in the Cancer Genetics Risk Assessment Program at Ascension St. Vincent in Indianapolis, which serves communities across the state of Indiana. Stephanie has a special interest in improving access to cancer genetic services in a community setting by collaborating with non-genetics providers to ensure quality and outcomes. She has led several investigator-initiated studies on professional issues related to genetic counseling and service delivery models in genetic counseling. She has served as chair of the National Society of Genetic Counselors (NSGC) Access and Service Delivery Committee, the NSGC Research, Quality and Outcomes Committee and co-chair of the Early Detection committee for the Indiana Cancer Consortium. Currently, she serves on the board of the Indiana Oncology Society and is involved with training genetic counseling students by serving as a clinical supervisor and research advisor
