Oral Presentation Guidelines

  • Oral presentations consist of a 10-minute presentation followed by 5 minutes for questions and discussion.
  • A widescreen projector will be used so please make sure your PPT presentation slides are formatted to 16:9 aspect ratio, the current PPT standard.
  • We encourage you to use the CGA-IGC templates provided HERE, but this is not required.
  • Keynote files are NOT supported.
  • All presenters must check into the Speakers' Preview Lounge at least 2 hours prior to their session time in order to upload their presentation. “Presenter View” is not available. Please bring any notes you need.
  • Please proceed to your session room 10-15 minutes before session start time in order to introduce yourself to the session chair(s) and to familiarize yourself with the set-up.

Rapid Talk Presentation Guidelines

  • Rapid Talks are brief 3-minute presentations, followed by no questions or discussion.
  • A widescreen projector will be used so please make sure your PPT presentation slides are formatted to 16:9 aspect ratio, the current PPT standard.
  • We encourage you to use the CGA-IGC templates provided HERE, but this is not required.

Poster/ Poster of Distinction Presentation Guidelines

  • Posters of Distinction are selected as outstanding abstracts and are specially highlighted within the poster program.
  • Abstracts at the CGA-IGC 2026 Annual Meeting will be presented as printed posters. (paper, fabric, etc.)
  • Posters should be prepared in Landscape format of dimensions 30h x 40w inches.
  • All material necessary for attaching the poster to the poster board will be available at the posters’ help desk in the poster area.
  • Authors are responsible for setting up and removing their posters.
  • Abstract title, author(s) and affiliation(s) should appear on top of the poster.
  • Please make sure that your poster can be read easily from a distance of 2 meters.
  • All posters must be written entirely in English.
  • Posters will be presented on boards in a designated area and will be available for viewing by attendees at all times during the meeting.

Monday, November 2

  • 7:00 AM–12:00 PM: Poster setup
  • 3:05–3:35 PM: CCARE Lynch Syndrome Poster Walk
  • 5:10–6:10 PM: Poster Session I

Tuesday, November 3

  • 6:00–7:00 PM: Poster Session II

Wednesday, November 4

  • 3:00–4:00 PM: Poster dismantling

*All posters will be displayed on poster boards in the Poster Area and will be available for viewing by participants throughout the meeting.

Speakers’ Preview Corner Opening Hours

All invited speakers, oral abstract presenters, rapid talk presenters, and industry session speakers may preview and edit their slide sets at the Speakers’ Preview Corner. Please upload your final presentation to the designated laptop at least 2 hours before your session begins. If your session is scheduled as the first session in the morning, please upload your presentation the day before.
