Turn Your Research Idea Into Action!
We would like to help you get your research featured at the next CGA-IGC annual meeting!
Have a research idea but not sure where to start? Looking for feedback, collaborators, or a clearer path forward?
Join us for the CGA-IGC Research Bootcamp on Sunday, November 1, 2026, from 12:00–1:45 PM MT in Denver, CO, ahead of the CGA-IGC Annual Meeting. Add even more value to your CGA-IGC experience by joining us for this special, complimentary pre-Annual Meeting workshop.
This interactive session is designed for registered annual meeting attendees at all stages of the research journey, from those brand new to research to those already developing or leading projects.
Through guided discussion and interactive activities, participants will explore key steps in building a research project, including:
➜Identifying a strong research question - Understanding how to shape an idea into a focused, feasible research question.
➜Navigating common regulatory considerations - Learning what to keep in mind when moving a project through key approval and compliance steps.
➜Approaching data collection - Thinking through where data may come from, how to identify patients or cases, and how to plan collection.
➜Finding collaborators - Building connections with others who can provide feedback, expertise, and partnership.
You will also have the chance to meet key hereditary GI cancer researchers, ask questions, share ideas, and connect with others who can help advance your work.
Bring your curiosity, your questions, or your next big idea and leave with momentum, new connections, and potential collaborators.
To support meaningful discussion and interaction, the workshop will be limited to 50 participants. A minimum of 10 participants will be required for the workshop to proceed. Early registration is encouraged.
