Deborah Cragun, PhD, MS, CGC, is a Professor at the University of South Florida and founding Director of its Genetic Counseling Graduate Program. She has served as a principal investigator or co-investigator on multiple federally funded studies focused on hereditary cancer, genomic medicine, and genetic counseling service delivery. She was a trainee in the inaugural cohort of the NIH-funded Mentored Training in Dissemination and Implementation Research in Cancer (MT-DIRC) and has since served as a mentor in other implementation science training programs, including TiGER. Her research focuses on identifying the factors and strategies needed to integrate evidence-based genetic and genomic services into routine healthcare.
