Dr. Peter Stanich is a gastroenterologist and professor at the Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center in the Division of Gastroenterology, Hepatology and Nutrition. His clinical focus is on the diagnosis and longitudinal care of patients with hereditary gastrointestinal cancer syndromes and is part of a multi-disciplinary specialty clinic in conjunction with genetic counselors.
He is a past president of the Collaborative Group of the Americas on Inherited Gastrointestinal Cancer (CGA-IGC).
